A thought from Rose

The plants that survived me

A confession: I’ve killed many plants. The ones that stayed taught me about consistency.

I overwatered when I remembered and underwatered when I forgot. The poor plants never knew what to expect from me.

Care isn’t intensity

Now I water on Mondays and Thursdays. A little, always. They grew — and I learned something about caring for other things too.

“Good care is the kind you repeat, not the kind you overdo.”
