A thought from Rose

The messages I take long to answer

Rosemery

It isn’t a lack of affection. It’s too much wanting to answer properly.

I have messages from friends that have gone unanswered for days. Not because I forgot, but because they deserve more than a hurried emoji.

The perfect reply that never comes

I’m learning that a short, sincere reply is worth more than the ideal one left for later.

“Sometimes the affection we postpone ends up arriving too late.”
