A thought from Rose

The day an elephant walked into the photo

Rosemery

An elephant seen during a safari
The instant the plan stopped mattering.

On being present when the landscape decides to offer a memory that wasn’t in the plans.

The camera was ready for another view when everything went quiet. He appeared slowly, as if he knew no one there wanted to interrupt that moment.

Live first, keep it later

I lowered the camera for a few seconds. The photo came afterwards; the memory had started before it.
