Cooking for one

Making good food when no one else will taste it is also a form of care.

When I started living alone, I began eating standing up, straight from the pan, anything quick.

Setting the table for me

One day I set out a plate, a napkin and a flower in a glass. It was the same food, but the meal became something else.

“We deserve the beautiful table we set for guests too.”
